All card payments are processed using high-level security standards. We work with trusted Sri Lankan payment gateways and your card issuer to ensure safe and reliable transactions.

⚠️ Important Note:
We strongly recommend not using gift cards or prepaid cards, as refund processing may be limited or delayed if a refund is required.

Cafe Bistro uses secure online payment technology to protect your card from unauthorized use. We support 3-D Secure authentication, including:

  • MasterCard Secure Code

When you select a credit or debit card at checkout, a secure authentication window will appear requesting your personal security code or OTP. Your bank will verify the transaction within seconds to confirm that you are the authorized cardholder.

Common Credit & Debit Card Payment Issues

Your payment may fail due to one of the following reasons:

  • Cardholder name or billing address does not match bank records
  • Incorrect card number, expiry date, or CVV
  • Card is not enabled for online payments
  • Online transaction limit has been exceeded
  • Transaction session timed out
  • Checkout page was closed before completing payment
