BLACK CHERRIES ON ICE WITH COFFEE
Coffee, lemonade and black cherry syrup. Ever tried them together? An unexpected treat, to cool down the hot summer afternoons.
Please read on in advance to ensure you have all the required equipment.
COLD BREW COFFEE
To prepare the cold brew coffee, let the coffee infuse in cold water for about 12 hours.
Then filter it using a cloth or paper filter, which you have previously soaked in water and squeezed dry (a fine or large mesh strainer gives two different results, to suit different tastes).
Take 200 ml (6.7fl oz) of the straight cold brew coffee and add 200 ml (6.7fl oz) of water.
Pour 150 g (5.3oz) of prepared black cherry lemonade and 100 g (3.5oz) of diluted cold brew into each glass.
Pour the bottled lemonade together with the black cherry syrup into a large pitcher and mix well.
Fill a glass with shaved ice and black cherry pieces.
Pour 150 g (5.3oz) of black cherry lemonade and 100 g (3.5oz) of diluted cold brew into each glass.
Decorate with a black cherry in syrup.

- 850ml (28fl oz) water
- 125ml (4.2fl oz) mocha coffee
- CHERRY LEMONADE
- 250g (8.8oz) black cherry syrup
- 375g (13.2fl oz) bottled lemonade
- 4 chopped black cherries
- 400 ml (13.5fl oz) diluted cold brew (1:1 – 200ml straight cold brew + 200ml water)
- 1 glass of shaved ice
