Customer Account
For customers who complete the corresponding registration process, we provide direct password-protected access to their personal data (customer account) stored by us. In the “My Account” area, you can view details of your orders, as well as manage your address, payment details and newsletter subscriptions. You are obliged to handle your personal access details confidentially and not to make them available to third parties. We will not assume liability for the improper use of passwords unless we are responsible for said improper use. A user account and the details stored therein can be deleted at any time.
Newsletters and Recommendations
When signing up for our newsletter, we send you a first-round notification email that contains information about our newsletter process, and how to unsubscribe at any time. Your newsletter preferences can always be managed within your Customer Account if you have registered for one. Every sent newsletter also contains the explicit option to unsubscribe from our newsletter mailing list at any time.
In case of an already existing business relationship between you as the customer and Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited, we may send you recommendation e-mails, such as special discounts and offers, new products from the same category you had previously ordered. If you opt-in to a Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited sweepstakes or promotion, either on www.cafebistro.lk or a third-party website, we may send you send recommendation e-mails, such as special discounts and offers, new products from the same category you had previously ordered. You can also unsubscribe from these recommendation e-mails at any time by clicking the UNSUBSCRIBE link at the bottom of the e-mail.
Disclosure of Personal Data
Your data will be disclosed to the shipping company responsible for the delivery as far as this is necessary for the delivery of your goods. For the settlement of payments, we disclose your payment details to the relevant banking institution.
