SALES & RETURN POLICY
These General Conditions of Sale apply to all business relations between Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited as the operator of www.cafebistro.lk, and its customers, as defined at the time of conclusion of the contract.
Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in our online shop does not imply a binding offer, but a non-binding online catalog. By clicking the [Buy/Purchase] button, you agree to a binding order of all goods in the shopping cart.
Confirmation of receipt of the order is provided by automated email after sending the order and does not constitute an acceptance of a contract at that stage. Acceptance of your order is confirmed either by sending you a separate order confirmation by email or by processing the order and initiating shipment within 2 working days.
Verification of Merchandise
It is your responsibility to verify the quantity and condition of the merchandise upon delivery. In case you observe damage or missing items, you must notify and file claim with the carrier and inform Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited within 7 days after delivery. Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited shall in such a case provide you with identical replacement merchandise.
Prices and Shipping Rates
The prices are valid at the time ordering. The period of validity of our limited offers can be found where they are illustrated on the Website. All prices include tax but exclude shipping costs.
We offer FREE shipping throughout the Sri Lanka on orders of LKR. 5000 and above, not including shipping costs. Your order total must be LKR. 5000 or above, before adding shipping costs, to qualify for Free Shipping. For orders less than LKR. 5000, shipping costs are only LKR. 200 for regular delivery. All shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
Shipping and Deliveries
All orders will be processing and shipping within 24 hours Monday through Friday, after we have receive the final payment. We ship out of all across in Sri Lanka orders via the courier services of Certis Lanka Courier (Pvt) Ltd. Your order should reach you within 2-3 working days after it has left our facilities. Shipping during Holiday times can increase delivery time to 3-4 days.
Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited shall delivery the ordered goods to the address provided by the customer. In case of delays in delivery, we shall inform you immediately.
Reservation of Title
Until complete payment is receive, the goods shall remain the property of Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited.
We accept a variety of payments for your online order (e.g. Bank Transfer / Deposits or Credit / Debit Card) or will accept payment by cash or cheque for onsite delivery. Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited retains the right only to accept certain payment methods in individual cases.

When redeeming a voucher and/or coupon code, please note the specific redemption conditions, such as minimum order quantity, validity, etc. Only one voucher and/or coupon code, or customer-related reduction, may be redeemed per order. Voucher and/or coupon codes cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given when the full value is not used. Resale of vouchers and/or coupon codes is not allowed.
Cancellation and Return Instructions
You have the right to cancel your order in text form (letter or e-mail) or return any merchandise that does not suit you within 7 days after receipt of the order. Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited will only accept returns of merchandise in their original condition and packaging accompanied by the invoice. When returns are properly completed, Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited shall reimburse the price of the returned merchandise and the invoiced delivery charges within a maximum of 15 days upon reception of the returned merchandise. The return postage will be at your expense. Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment.
If you are not satisfied with your order and would like to return the products, please Contact us (Contact us link) within 7 days of receipt of your package. We will accept returns of unopened boxes, and will refund your order via your original payment method.
Once you have contacted us to initiate a return, you may ship the package to us, or Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited will e-mail you a Return Shipping Label which you can then print out and attach to your package for the return. All return labels are processed through the above mentioned courier, and you can schedule a pick-up, or drop off your package at courier branches.
Return Shipment Cost Coverage Agreement
If you as the consumer exercise your right of cancellation or return, you shall bear the costs of the return shipment. However, Cafe Bistro (Privet) Limited will bear the costs of the return shipment in all cases when the wrong merchandise was delivered and in cases when only a partial order was sent.
Please be aware that our customers will bear a Return Shipping Cost of LKR. 200 for 1st Kg and LKR.50 for each additional 1Kg on all orders should you use our return labels. This Return Shipping Fee will be deducting from your refund.
